Rancho Obi-Wan in Butter & Egg Days Parade

Hom Grown
Come on down to charming Petaluma today for the Butter & Egg Days Parade & Festival. The theme this year is “Home Grown Petaluma” Celebrating all things hatched, incubated, planted & raised in our Hometown. The Parade starts at Noon, here’s the complete festival schedule.

Rancho Obi-Wan came to fruition in Petaluma back in 1998 when Steve Sansweet moved his enormous Star Wars collection from Los Angeles. He bought an old chicken farm, a property once part of the Fishman family farms, and turned the hen houses into what is now officially the World’s Largest Collection of Star Wars memorabilia as certified by GUINNESS World Records. Read more of our history here.

We are part of the parade entry for the History Connection along with the Golden Gate Garrison of the 501st Legion. We will be driving our Rebel Troop Carrier which was donated to Rancho Obi-Wan this year by Cole Horton of the R2-D2 Builders Club. The new batteries for the Carrier where donated by Interstate Batteries in Santa Rosa. During the parade we will give out DK Readers donated by DK Publishing and sweet treats donated by our latest sponsor Little Debbie!
